The year 2020 marks the 150th anniversary of the International Prisoner of War Agency. We seek to bring together scholars to examine the experience of imprisonment and internment and explore the implications this held for military prisoners and civilian internees, and their families and communities, as well as the repercussions for the imprisoning and interning powers.
