Dr David Jordan

'A Most Cooperative Organization': The Trials and Tribulations of Air Support in North West Europe, June-December 1944


Dr David Jordan is a Senior Lecturer in the Defence Studies Department and a leading commentator on the role of air power during the Second World War. In this lecture he will examine aspects of the contribution it made to the Allied invasion of Europe in 1944 and the subsequent advance to the German frontier.

The seminar will take place on 20 February 2018. Seminars are held from 13:00-14:00 and meet in the Ramslade Room, Joint Services Command and Staff College, Shrivenham, Wiltshire.
